The following terms and conditions apply to transactions on our website at Reefdreams.co.uk
The placing of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Please read them carefully and if required, print a copy for your records or future use. To Order through this website you must be at least 18 years of age. We will treat each order as a commitment by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.
1.1 Buyer means the individual or organisation who buys or agrees to buy the Goods from the Seller;
1.2 Consumer shall have the meaning ascribed in section 12 or the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977;
1.3 Contract means the contract between the Seller and the Buyer for the sale and purchase of Goods incorporating these Terms and Conditions
1.4 Goods means the articles that the Buyer agrees to buy from the Seller;

1.6 Terms and Conditions means the terms and conditions of sale set out in this document and any special terms and condition agreed in writing by the Seller.
2.1 Nothing in these Terms and Condition shall affect the Buyers statutory rights as a Consumer.
2.2 These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all contracts of sale of Goods by the Seller to the Buyer and shall prevail over other documentation or communication from the Buyer.
2.3 Acceptance of delivery of the Goods shall be deemed conclusive evidence of the Buyers acceptance of these Terms and Conditions
2.4 Any variation to these Terms and Conditions (including any special terms and conditions agreed between parties) shall be in applicable unless agreed in writing by the Seller.
3.1 All orders for Goods shall be deemed an offer by the Buyer to purchase Goods pursuant to these Terms and Condition subject to acceptance by the Seller. The Seller may choose not accept an order for any reason.
3.2 Where the Goods ordered by the Buyer are nor available from stock the Buyer shall be notified and give the option to either wait until the Goods are available from stock or cancel the order and receive a full refund within 30 days.
4. PRICE AND PAYMENT
4.1 The price of the Goods shall be that stipulated on the Sellers current price list. The Price is inclusive of VAT. The Price does not include delivery charges. Additional delivery charges are payable for delivery both within and outside the United Kingdom.
4.2 Payment of the Price and delivery charges must be made in full before dispatch of the Goods.
5. RIGHTS OF THE SELLER
The Seller reserves the right to adjust the price and specification of any item in its current price list.
The Seller warrants that the Goods will at the time of dispatch correspond to the description given by the Seller. Except where the Buyer is dealing as a Consumer, all other warranties, conditions, or terms relating to fitness for purpose, merchantability or the condition of the Goods, whether implied by the Statute, common law or otherwise are excluded, and the Buyer is satisfied as to the suitability of the Goods for the Buyers purpose.
7.1 The Seller shall use its reasonable endeavours to meet any date agreed for delivery. In any event time of delivery shall not be of the essence and the Seller shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the Buyer or any third party whether directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet the estimated delivery date.
7.2 Delivery of the Goods shall be made to the Buyers address specified in the order and the Buyer shall make all the arrangements necessary to take delivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for delivery.
7.3 Title and risk in the Goods shall pass to the Buyer upon delivery of the Goods.
8. CANCELLATION AND RETURN
8.1 The Buyer shall inspect the Goods immediately upon receipt and shall notify the Seller within 2 working days of delivery if the Goods are damaged or do not comply with any of the Contract. If the Buyer fails to do so they shall be deemed to have accepted the Goods.
8.2 Where a claim of defect or damage is made the Goods shall be returned to the Buyer by the Seller. The Buyer shall be entitled to a full refund (including delivery costs) plus any return postal charges if the Goods are in fact defective.
8.3 If you are a consumer you have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel the Contract and receive a refund by informing the Seller within 7 working days of receipt of the Goods.
8.4 Goods must be returned by the Buyer at the Buyers expense and should be adequately insured during the return journey. A Buyer will receive a full refund of all monies paid for the Goods (including delivery charges, if any) except for return postal charges within 30 days of cancellation. If the Buyer fails to return the goods following cancellation, the Seller shall be entitled to deduct the cost of recovering the Goods from the Buyer.
8.5 When returned Good are found to be damaged due to the Buyers fault the Buyer will be liable for the cost of remedying such damage.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABLITY
9.1 Except as may be implied by law where the Buyer is dealing as a Consumer, in the event of any breach of these Terms and Conditions by the Seller the remedies of the Buyer shall be limited to damages which shall in no circumstances exceed the value of the Goods and the Seller shall under no circumstance be liable for any direct, incidental or consequential loss or damage whatever.
9.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit the liability of the Seller for death or personal injury resulting from the negligence of the Seller or that of the Sellers agents or employees.
No wavier by the Seller (whether express or implied) in enforcing any of its rights under this contract shall prejudice its right to do so in the future.
11. FORCE MAJEURE
The Seller shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstance outside its reasonable control, but not limited to Acts of God, strikes, lock outs, accidents of war, fire breakdown of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply, and the Seller shall be entitles to a reasonable extension of time to fulfil its obligations.
If any term or provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction such provision shall be served and the remainder of the provisions hereof shall continue in full force and effect as if these Terms and Conditions had been agreed with the invalid illegal or unenforceable provision eliminated.
13. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Seller shall be entitles to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time, but this right shall not effect the existing Terms and Conditions accepted by the Buyer upon making a purchase.
14. GOVERNANCE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and the parties hereto submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

|Making A Purchase|
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment via our secure 128bit encrypted payments system
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
|Shipping And Handling|
When purchasing corals, you can purchase up to 5 corals for the inclusive shipping price of £12.50. This includes insulated packaging and heat pads to ensure all corals reach you in perfect condition.
Metal halide lamps will be shipped on a next day service for £3.95.
Lighting products will normally be shipped separately to other goods.
All other goods will be shipped via the delivery service selected during checkout. If you require a next working day service please select this during checkout.
Our Economy Recorded Service is sent via Royal Mails First Class Recorded Service, please allow 1-3 working days for delivery.
The cost is based on the weight of the items and their volume. This will be automatically calulated as you add items to your cart.
A rough guide is:
Up to 0.5kg £3.99
Up to 1Kg £5.75
Up to 2Kg £7.50
Over 2Kg £8.95
Alternatively you can make an appoitment to collect your goods. Please call 0844 357 0799 to arrange an appointment. We can normally accomodate visits in evenings and at weekends only. Please do not try to visit without prior arrangement as we are currently in secured temporary premises.
We try to hold all products in stock and can therefore process your order the same day for despatch within 24 hours when the order is placed before 12 noon, normally orders are despatched the same day as payment has cleared. If you require any products urgently please call 0844 357 0799 to check availability and delivery times.
We will ONLY dispatch corals and livestock on a next day delivery. This service may be suspended in the interests of the livestock if there is very cold weather forecast. On corals and livestock products you will be promted to enter your prefered delivery day. Please note we only ship corals/livestock on certain days of the week, to ensure that it can be deliverd within 24hrs.
If you place the order before 12 Noon on:
Monday livestock/corals can be delivered on Tuesday (if selected)
Tuesday livestock/corals can be delivered on Wednesday (if selected)
Wednesday livestock/corals can be delivered on Thursday (if selected)
We do not ship livestock deliveries on any other days in case the delivery is delayed, we do not want livestock sitting in a warehouse over a weekend.
All other orders will be sent by our standard delivery and should be received Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm. If goods are not in stock you will be contacted via e-mail or phone to advise you of the delay and you will be given an option to cancel your order and your payment refunded.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
All prices are inclusive of any VAT that is liable.

When the order is placed at our website, you are transfered to our secure payment providers website. Your card details are not stored or received by us.
If you receive any coral/livestock order in poor condition, please call us immediately and where possible take a photo of the items and then e-mail or call us on 0844 357 0799 immediately. All our corals packed in insulated packages with 48hr heatpacks so should reach you in perfect condition. Please see our acclimatisation page for details on how to acclimatise and add your new purchase to your tank.

Reefdreams do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
